COURSE 1: Beginner Pattern Making & Loungewear in Cape Town

Most beginner courses rely on pre-existing commercial patterns, this is not one of them. At the School of Fashion (SOF), we believe true design begins with the ability to create your own templates. This intensive, detail-oriented course is a mandatory prerequisite for all aspiring designers, ensuring you master the correct technical skills of manual block drafting before moving into advanced design.

By mastering fabric characteristics and industry-standard construction in our Cape Town studio, you will gain the technical capability to bring your own unique visions to life without relying on a store-bought pattern.
